Christina Coulter is an eager and tenacious reporter from Wilton, Connecticut. After attending Wilton High School, Christina graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing. She was President of Marist's Literary Arts Society, which published academic journal "The Fox Forum" and creative magazine "The Mosaic."

Throughout her college career, Christina interned for and contributed to publications in the Northeast, including The Wilton Bulletin and The Millbrook Independent. In 2016, Christina was taken on as an intern by Ulster Publishing, and regularly contributed to the Kingston Times, the Woodstock Times, the New Paltz Times and the Saugerties Times. 

After her summer-long internship with Ulster Publishing came to an end, Christina became a freelancer for the company until she earned an undergraduate degree. Then, she assumed the role of lead reporter of the Saugerties Times, where she worked until the economic impact of COVID-19 halted the printing of the publication.

Ulster County Man Arrested For Striking Woman On Head, Damaging Door A Saugerties man was charged with the misdemeanors second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief after a domestic dispute at his home on Post Street, police said.  According to Saugerties Police, a 911 call reporting the fight was placed at approximately 6:55 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7.  Police said Alan T. Wojcio, 35, struck his female victim on the head and damaged a door and doorframe in the residence.  Wojcio was arraigned in the Village of Saugerties Court and released. A restraining order was issued on the victim's behalf.

Man Who Threw Cooler Through Window Violated Restraining Order, Police Say A man who broke a restraining order by contacting a female, throwing a cooler through her window in the process, was arrested on a warrant months after the incident, according to police.
