Christina Coulter is an eager and tenacious reporter from Wilton, Connecticut. After attending Wilton High School, Christina graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing. She was President of Marist's Literary Arts Society, which published academic journal "The Fox Forum" and creative magazine "The Mosaic."

Throughout her college career, Christina interned for and contributed to publications in the Northeast, including The Wilton Bulletin and The Millbrook Independent. In 2016, Christina was taken on as an intern by Ulster Publishing, and regularly contributed to the Kingston Times, the Woodstock Times, the New Paltz Times and the Saugerties Times. 

After her summer-long internship with Ulster Publishing came to an end, Christina became a freelancer for the company until she earned an undergraduate degree. Then, she assumed the role of lead reporter of the Saugerties Times, where she worked until the economic impact of COVID-19 halted the printing of the publication.

Danbury Man Sentenced For Embezzling $1.1 Million From Company Where He Worked For 25 Years A Danbury man who embezzled $1.1 million from the printing company that employed him over the course of more than 25 years was sentenced to over three years in prison.  Anthony "Tony" Teixeira was charged with 10 counts of wire fraud, an offense that carries a maximum sentence of 20 years, on Dec. 12 of 2019, then released on a $50,000 bond. He was sentenced to 41 months in prison followed by three years of post-release supervision on Thursday, Nov. 12. Photos: $3.2M Bridge Project Completed In Area The $3.2 million dollar replacement of the Salt Point Turnpike Bridge in the Town of Pleasant Valley has been completed. Construction, which included the replacement of the bridge over Wappinger Creek, the reconfiguration of an intersection and the replacement of an adjacent culvert, began on April 16 of 2019.  The new bridge has two new four-foot-wide shoulders, improving safety and mobility along State Route 115, and the culvert promotes the health of the waterway by allowing water to flow more freely through the area.  The structure is also better lit than its predecessor, acc…

Alert Issued For Man Wanted In Putnam County The Putnam County Sheriff's Department is searching for a man wanted for the felony of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.  According to police, 47-year-old Elvis Quezada stands at 6-foot-1, has black hair and brown eyes. Multiple Vehicle Break-Ins Under Investigation In Dutchess The Dutchess County Sheriff's Department is investigating a series of vehicle break-ins in Pleasant Valley and the Town of LaGrange, police said.  According to the department, most of the targeted vehicles have been unlocked and parked in their owner's driveways.
