Christina Coulter is an eager and tenacious reporter from Wilton, Connecticut. After attending Wilton High School, Christina graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing. She was President of Marist's Literary Arts Society, which published academic journal "The Fox Forum" and creative magazine "The Mosaic."

Throughout her college career, Christina interned for and contributed to publications in the Northeast, including The Wilton Bulletin and The Millbrook Independent. In 2016, Christina was taken on as an intern by Ulster Publishing, and regularly contributed to the Kingston Times, the Woodstock Times, the New Paltz Times and the Saugerties Times.

After her summer-long internship with Ulster Publishing came to an end, Christina became a freelancer for the company until she earned an undergraduate degree. Then, she assumed the role of lead reporter of the Saugerties Times, where she worked until the economic impact of COVID-19 halted the printing of the publication.

Man Caught With Heroin At Parking Lot In Area, Police Say An area man accrued felony charges after he was spotted packaging heroin into glassine envelopes while sitting in his parked car, police said. According to state police, a trooper observed Sullivan County resident 27--year-old Arhan Celic of Fallsburg preparing the heroin in his blue Hyundai Sonata in a Wallkill parking lot at approximately 5:48 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30. A search of his vehicle yielded Alprazolam pills, multiple bags of heroin and digital scales. Dutchess Woman Charged With ID Theft In Ulster County After Using Fake ID At DMV A Poughkeepsie woman was charged with felonies after presenting a fake ID in Ulster County to Department of Motor Vehicle employees while attempting to transfer a vehicle title, police said. Veronica Reyes, 29, was charged with the felonies of second-degree identity theft and second-degree possession of a forged instrument on Wednesday, Nov. 4. State Police Issue Alert For Wanted Long Island Man State Police are searching for a man who never showed up in court after he was arrested in April of 2016 for driving while intoxicated on Long Island. A bench warrant was issued by the Nassau County Court for the arrest of 30-year-old Nester Ramirez-Ramirez in May of 2017. Ramirez-Ramirez stands at 5-foot-6, has brown hair and brown eyes and weighs approximately 175 pounds. Man Wanted For Using Credit Cards Stolen From Car At Two Long Island Stores Police are searching for a man who made purchases at two Long Island 7-Eleven locations using a credit card stolen from a parked car. According to police, the credit card was reported stolen on Sept. 2; according to the owner, the card was last seen in a vehicle parked on Julia Goldback Avenue in Bohemia, Suffolk County Police said. Women Wanted For Stealing $875 From Long Island Macy's Police are looking for six unidentified women who were caught on surveillance video stealing approximately $875 in merchandise from a Long Island Macy's location. The incident happened at the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove on Monday, Aug. 10 at approximately 6 p.m., according to Suffolk County Police. Report: Three Hudson Valley Locales Among Top 10 Safest Communities In Nation Four New York communities, with two in Westchester County, made a list of the country's 10 safest small towns, compiled using rates of violent and property crime, compiled by Safewise. Apartment Fire Breaks Out In Area An apartment fire that broke out in the area was controlled in about 20 minutes. Firefighters in Ulster County responded to the Lake Katrine Apartments on Neighborhood Road at approximately 6:05 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. The blaze broke out in the balcony of the building's second floor and was beginning to extend to the building's interior, authorities said. Man Wanted For Stealing From Long Island Walmart Police are looking to the public to identify a man who stole from a Long Island Walmart location. According to police, the incident took place in Setauket at a Walmart on Nesconset Highway at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, according to Suffolk County.
