I-95 Reopens After Crash
This story has been updated. A stretch of I-95.has reopened after a serious crash had caused its closure. The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 18 on the southbound side between the New York/Connecticut state line and I-287 (Exit 21) in Westchester. Roadwork Alert: Taconic State Parkway Lane Closures Scheduled
There will be daily road closures on the Taconic State Parkway in the area as contracting crews perform construction activities. The New York State Department of Transportation issued an advisory that there will be lane closures in both directions between the Westchester-Putnam county line and exit 31 (Route 301) beginning on Sunday, May 17. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, there will be single-lane closures on the parkway in Putnam Valley. This story has been updated. A section of the Saw Mill Parkway has reopened after a serious crash caused its closure for hours in Northern Westchester. The crash, on the southbound side, happened near Exit 42 (Route 117) in Bedford on Friday morning, Feb. 7. The roadway reopened around 9:30 a.m. During the closure, traffic was detoured off at Exit 42 to southbound Route 117 to Exit 39back onto the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway.

The crash was reported shortly before 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, on the southbound side just north of Peekskill Hollow Road in Putnam Valley. The lanes reopened at around 8:25 a.m., state police said.
