One Rushed To Westchester Medical Center In Critical Condition After Two-Vehicle Crash In Area A woman was seriously injured after being hit by a BMW SUV while riding a dirt bike in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County around 10 p.m., Tuesday, July 12 in Nanuet in the area of N. Pascack Road and Clark Drive. The crash occurred when a 27-year-old New City woman was struck by the BMW while driving a dirt bike, said Det. Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police. Stamford Motorist Charged With DUI After Nearly Striking Greenwich PD Cruiser, Police Say A Stamford motorist is facing DUI charges after he almost crashed into a Greenwich police cruiser, authorities say. Officers were on patrol in the area of East Putnam Avenue on Saturday, Feb. 16 around 11:30 p.m. when they observed a vehicle traveling eastbound. The vehicle allegedly crossed over the double yellow line and drifted into the westbound lane, forcing an officer to swerve in order to avoid being hit. Port Chester Teen Caught Driving With Stolen License Plate In Greenwich, Police Say An 18-year-old teen was busted for driving with a stolen plate and other charges after being stopped for not having a front license plate.
