Two Seriously Injured In Five-Vehicle I-95 Crash Connecticut State Troopers are saying it is a miracle no one was killed when a tractor-trailer slammed into the rear of a Toyota on I-95, causing a chain reaction crash with three other tractor-trailers. The crash occurred around 12:20 a.m. Tuesday near exit 43 in West Haven, when the last tractor-trailer did not slow down in time for construction, slamming into the small car, said state police. Troopers said details of the crash included three of the tractor-trailers and the Toyota were traveling in the right lane of I-95 when traffic began to slow for a construction zone ahead.
