Port Chester Native Daniel M. Bochicchio Was Golfer, Bowler, Radio Host, Successful Sales Rep Daniel M. Bochicchio Jr., 64, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away July 11, 2023 at his home. He was born October 24, 1958 in Port Chester to Daniel Sr. and Sue Bochicchio. Daniel was retired from General Foods, Phillip Morris, and Kraft after 30 years, having worked his way up from the mail room to the National Sales Representative.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling, dancing, and gambling, and hosting his radio show with his friends, “Old School Throwbacks” that broadcast on WLCB 101.5. Port Chester Native Who Was Cop, Owner Of Popular Restaurant Dies A Westchester County native and retired police officer in Greenwich who spent 23 years with the department and then opened a popular Fairfield County restaurant has died. Greenwich Police Chief James Heavey reported that Joseph Gavin died on Monday, June 29. He was 75 years old.  Gavin, who was born in Port Chester, joined the department in July 1970 and served in the Patrol Division. Ex-Marine Dusty Rhodes, Owner Of Westchester Martial Arts School, Dies Westchester native and Pawling resident Dusty Rhodes, the owner of a martial arts school for more than 20 years, died on Tuesday, April 10 after battling cancer. He was 49. Dusty was born on May 16, 1968 in New Rochelle to the late Peter and Grace (Lofaro) Rhodes. He was a chef at Juliano's Caterers in New Rochelle for many years and was the proprietor of Rhodes Kajukenbo Karate & KajuPit NY MMA in New Rochelle since 1995.
