Area Man Admits To Illegally Selling Sharks An area man who was arrested in March for having live sharks in his basement has pleaded guilty to the crime. Joshua Seguine, 38, of Lagrangeville, admitted Friday, July 12, to keeping live Sandbar sharts, a protected species, and attempting to sell them over the internet, said New York Attorney General Letitia James and Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Basil Seggos. According to the felony complaint, Seguine came to the attention of DEC Law Enforcement in July of 2017, after he was found in possession of five undersized sharks in the back of his truck. Hudson Valley Owners Of Rita's Italian Ice Sue Former Accountant For $5M The owners of Rita's Italian Ice stores in New York and Connecticut are suing their former accounting firm and demanding $5 million in compensation in a lawsuit filed in federal court in White Plains, according to the Business Journal. In the suit, filed in December, the DeAngelis family of Dutchess County, accuse their former accounting firm, Brendon Pierson Inc. of Wall Township, N.J., of malpractice, saying they committed a series of gross errors in services causing the company to suffered severe damages, the Journal said.
