A woman is facing a felony charge after police said she struck a victim with a vacuum during a dispute in Northern Westchester.
Ljendita Gjonbalaj, 52, of Yorktown, was arrested on Wednesday, April 22, and charged with attempted second-degree assault, a felony, the Yorktown Police Department announced this week.

Three prisoners were killed in New York State prisons within five days last week, state police said Monday, April 13.
All three men were killed in altercations with other prisoners, according to New York State Police. Additional charges against the three suspects are pending.
