Police Apprehend Islandia Man Wanted As Fugitive From Justice On Assault Charge A 32-year-old man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on multiple charges out of Arizona was apprehended on Long Island. Tyler Winter, of Islandia, was arrested without incident by the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office on Monday, Nov. 28, authorities said. The Sheriff's Office reported that Winter was wanted out of Yavapai County, Arizona, on charges including assault with a deadly weapon on a non-family member. Trio Wanted For Stripping Thousands Of Dollars In Parts From Cars In Smithtown Authorities are searching for three men who are wanted for stealing tires and rims valued at about $9,600 on Long Island. Three men stole eight sets of tires and rims from two 2022 Cadillacs at King O’Rourke Cadillac in Smithtown between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 5, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers reported on Monday, Nov. 28. Authorities said the Cadillac dealer is located at 756 Smithtown Bypass. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Woman Arrested At LaGuardia Airport For Trying To Bring Loaded Revolver Through Security A woman was arrested after officials said she tried to board a flight at LaGuardia Airport with a loaded revolver. The Louisiana woman was brought into custody on Monday, Nov. 28, after she was prevented by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers from bringing the .38 caliber revolver handgun through the security checkpoint. Bohemia Man Sentenced For Possessing Nearly 1 Kilo Of Cocaine, Semi-Automatic Pistol A 45-year-old Long Island man who was found in possession of nearly one kilogram of cocaine and a semi-automatic pistol has been sentenced.
