Police Investigate Untimely Death Of 30-Year-Old Woman Found In CT Wooded Area An investigation is underway after a 30-year-old woman was found dead at a tent site in a wooded area in Connecticut. The Woodbridge Police Department announced on Monday, Nov. 28, that it is investigating the untimely death of the woman, whose identity was not released. On Sunday, Nov. 27, the woman was found deceased at a site where she had been residing in Woodbridge in a wooded area bordered by Litchfield Turnpike (Route 69), Pond Lily Avenue, and the Wilbur Cross Parkway, police reported. Suffolk County Police Officers Help Deliver Baby At Shirley Residence Officers helped deliver a baby boy after a woman went into labor at her Long Island home. Suffolk County Police Officer Conor Diemer responded to a report of a woman going into labor at her residence on Arpage Drive in Shirley at 10:13 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, the Suffolk County Police Department reported. 3 Men Wanted For Stealing About $16K Worth Of Merchandise From Commack Store, Authorities Say Authorities asked the public for help identifying three men who are accused of stealing about $16,000 worth of fragrances from Ulta on Long Island. Three men stole the merchandise from the Commack store, located at 78 Veterans Memorial Highway, at about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers reported on Wednesday, Nov. 23. They fled the scene in a dark-colored four-door sedan, Crime Stoppers said. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Hudson Valley Man Sentenced For Sexually Abusing Child A 33-year-old Hudson Valley man has been sentenced for sexually abusing a child over the course of several years. Holger Chuya-Andrade, of Spring Valley, was sentenced to 20 years to life on Monday, Nov. 21, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh announced on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Medford Man Accused Of Driving Intoxicated In Patchogue With 14-Year-Old Passenger In Car A 51-year-old man is facing charges after authorities said he drove while intoxicated on Long Island with his 14-year-old son in the vehicle. Deputies pulled a car over for failure to maintain a lane on Route 112 in Patchogue at about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office reported.
