A community is coming together to help the family of a man killed by a train in Northern Westchester, who leaves behind two children and a third on the way.
According to MTA officials, Peekskill resident Marcos Preciado, age 37, was killed on Monday night, May 8 after he was struck by an Amtrak train around 8:40 p.m. on the Hudson Line near Cortlandt station.

New Deal Would Create Metro-North Line Into Penn Station From Westchester
At long last, Metro-North riders may soon have access to Penn Station from Westchester, as the MTA moves forward with a new deal with Amtrak.
This week, MTA officials announced the new deal with Amtrak, which will call for new Metro-North stops in Co-op City, Morris Park, Parkchester/ Van Nest and Hunts Point, bringing those commuters, and those from the New Rochelle station, to Penn Station in Manhattan.
Without hitting any hurdles, the new Bronx stations are expected to be open no later than 2023.
