A graduate of Connecticut College and St. John's Law School, she relocated to Irvington in 1976. She worked at New York Life Insurance Co., and owned and operated the Irvington Realty Co. In 1997, she was appointed as an assistant attorney general for New York state in the Consumer Fraud Division in White Plains. Crescenzo worked for Consumer Reports, the Mount Vernon Board of Education at Mount Vernon High School and A.B. Davis Middle School. She retired in 2011. She enjoyed cooking Italian food.
