20-Year-Old Killed In I-84 Crash A 20-year-old was killed after slamming into the back of a tractor-trailer on a busy Connecticut roadway, police said. The crash took place in New Haven County around 8:30 p.m. near Exit 23 on I-84 in Waterbury. According to state police, both vehicles were traveling westbound when a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Fairfield County resident Zachary James Carlson, of Danbury, failed to slow down due to traffic and struck the rear of the tractor-trailer. Danbury Ecuadorian National Admits To Failing To Register As Sex Offender An Ecuadorian national who illegally entered the United States and has been residing in Danbury is facing up to 10 years in prison for failing to register as a sex offender. Fajardo Marin, 40, has pleaded guilty in district court to one count of illegally reentering the country, John Durham, the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced on Tuesday.
