Nyseg Customers Can Expect Rate Increase Soon Utility bills may become a bit more of a burden as NYSEG prepares for rate hikes. The New York State Electric & Gas Corp. and Rochester Gas & Electric Corp. reached a tentative settlement with New York regulators on a rate increase that will begin as soon as the spring, though few details were released.
