Former Local Police Chief In Hudson Valley Dies A former police chief from Westchester County has died. Robert William Lipsky died at the Sunrise of Crestwood Assisted Living Facility in Yonkers on Tuesday, Nov. 29, according to his obituary. He was age 93. He was born in Tarrytown and graduated from Irvington High School. Lipsky went on to join the United States Army stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey, earning an honorable discharge as a corporal in 1950, his obituary said. 22-Year-Old Man Killed In Area Crash Remembered For 'Charming Smile' Friends and family of a 22-year-old Pound Ridge man who was killed in a head-on crash in Northern Westchester gathered to remember him on Friday, Dec. 20. Diego Trejo, who died Monday,  Dec. 16, was remembered as a kind and gentle soul during a funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mount Kisco. He was buried at St. Francis Cemetery. According to his obituary, Trejo was known for his "charming smile,"  which touched the lives of many.
