Duo Nabbed In Connection To Shooting Of Dutchess County Man Two men have been charged with the alleged shooting of a Hudson Valley man who is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The arrests occurred in Dutchess County on Wednesday, April 3 for the Saturday, March 30 incident at 444 Main St., in Poughkeepsie. During the incident, officers found 34-year-old Jaquan Fryar, of Poughkeepsie with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to an area hospital, where he remains, said Det. Sgt. Robert Whitaker of North Carolina turned himself in for the Jan. 27 shooting of a man in front of the Fireman's Exempt Social Club, said City of Poughkeepsie Police Det. Lt. Matt Clark.
