Dutchess County Woman Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash in Hudson Valley A 68-year-old Hudson Valley woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash when a box truck allegedly crossed into oncoming traffic. The crash took place in Orange County around 9:40 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 7 on Route 300 in the town of Newburgh. According to Lt. Peter Talarico of the town of Newburgh Police, an investigation shows a 2019 Ford box truck was northbound on Route 300, approaching a curve in the roadway when it appears to have crossed onto the southbound lane and struck a 2019 Dodge Ram. The crash took place in Dutchess County at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11 in East Fishkill just north of Robinson Lane and Lake Walton Road. When officers arrived, there was a black Dodge Ram and a blue BMW in the southbound lane, both with significant damage and one driver with serious injuries, said the East Fishkill Police. The robbery took place in Yonkers on Wednesday, Dec. 22, when a group of men robbed an Amazon delivery truck in Yonkers, said FBI agents and detectives from the Yonkers Police Department. The robbers were wearing masks and one was armed with a gun. Nearly 700K More Pickup Trucks Recalled Due To Tailgate Problem Fiat Chrysler is expanding its recall of Dodge Ram pickup trucks that may have a faulty tailgate that could open unexpectedly. The company announced that it is recalling 693,000 pickups to fix the tailgates. It comes on the heels of other recalls for tailgates that opened while the trucks are operating, totaling more than 1.1 million vehicles in all. The recall was expanded on Thursday, Aug. 29, and it includes 2013 and 2014 model Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks. It happened around 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, Danbury Police said. The motorcyclist, Bretburton Clark, 25, of Brookfield, was operating a Harley Davidson southbound on Federal Road in Danbury when it struck the 2012 Dodge Ram driven by 51-year-old Pedro Borgesserrafim, said police.  Clark was rushed to Danbury Hospital.
