The incident occurred in Orange County on Thursday, March 28 in Greenwood Lake. Teen Duo Charged With Attempted Murder Following Shooting In Region Two underage teens are facing attempted murder charges following a shooting in the region. The Rensselaer County incident happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, in Troy, near 3rd and Jefferson streets. Troy Police said someone called 911 saying they had heard multiple gunshots in the area. Duo's Storage Unit Theft Spree In Region Foiled By Vigilant Passerby, Police Say Two suspected storage unit thieves are facing charges thanks to a tip from a vigilant passerby. Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies were called at around 3 p.m. Friday, March 15, for a suspicious vehicle at the Extra Space Storage in Clifton Park. When they arrived, deputies encountered found 40-year-old Michael DeMartino, of Stillwater, and 41-year-old Kristin Frisch, of Gloversville. An investigation determined they had stolen numerous items from various storage units. Child Struck By School Bus In Hudson Valley, Police Say A 6-year-old Hudson Valley boy is recovering after being struck by a school bus. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 26 in Monsey. According to Det. Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police, the child was struck by a school bus on West Maple Avenue.  Franklin said the child suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital by Hatzolah Ambulance Corps. Dutchess County resident Jose J. Cruz, age 22, of Beacon, was arrested early Monday, March 25 in Hyde Park by members of the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force. According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the Task Force, Cruz had been under investigation for the sale of fentanyl and other drugs in Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park, and the surrounding areas. Man Found Dead Along Shore Of Hudson Valley Lake Police are investigating after a man was found dead along the shore of a Hudson Valley lake. The incident occurred in Orange County around 4 p.m., Friday, March 22 in the City of Newburgh. According to Mike Neppl, spokesman for the city of Newburgh Police, a fisherman reported finding an unidentified man dead along the shore of Crystal Lake.
