Woman Airlifted To Hospital After Crash Between Car, Tractor-Trailer In Orange County A Hudson Valley woman was seriously injured following a crash with a tractor-trailer. The crash took place in Orange County around 11:15 a.m., Thursday, June 1 in the town of Newburgh. According to Lt, Peter Talarico, of the town of Newburgh Police, officers on the scene found an accident involving a 2008 Infinity and a 2002 tractor-trailer.  Preliminary investigations show the tractor-trailer,  driven by a 42-year-old Sullivan County man from Wurtsboro, was traveling southbound on Route 300. At around midnight on Sunday, March 24, the man pictured above in the photo released by Town of Newburgh Police is accused of inappropriately touching an unsuspecting female shopper. The Town of New Windsor Police Department will be increasing their patrol presence in the 5 Corners area of Vails Gate, beginning on Monday, Sept. 24. Police will be working to discourage and monitor for illegal lane usage and other driving violations as part of a Selective Traffic Enforcement Program initiative. Man, 27, Killed After Crashing Into Pole On Route 300 A 27-year-old man was killed in an early morning crash after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a utility pole, according to Town of Newburgh Police. Christopher Page, 27, of the Hamlet of Wallkill, was traveling north on Route 300 at 6:45 a.m. Monday, when he failed to negotiate a curve and hit a utility pole at the intersection of Union Avenue, said Lt. James Nenni. Page was pronounced dead at the scene by a member of the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office, Nenni added. Nenni said that Page was alone and that no other vehicles were involved.
