Man Dies At Hospital After Blaze At Northern Westchester Home A man died at a hospital following a fire at a residence in Northern Westchester. The blaze happened on Tuesday, May 7 in Ossining in the area of Liberty Street and Spring Street, where a multi-floor residence went up in flames, according to Ossining Police. 39-Year-Old Accused Of Slashing Tires In Northern Westchester A 39-year-old man has been charged after authorities said he slashed two tires in Northern Westchester. The Ossining man was arrested on a charge of third-degree criminal mischief, according to an announcement from the Yorktown Police Department on Friday, Jan. 28. The man's identity was not released. Car Crashes Into Dry Cleaners In Northern Westchester A car crashed into the front of a Northern Westchester dry cleaners, taking out the entire window. The incident took place around 6 p.m., on Wednesday, May 1, when the sedan plowed into the front of the Greenest Organic Cleaners, in Ossining, said Ossining Police. According to Ossining Chief Kevin Sylvester, the driver simply stepped on the wrong pedal and plowed into the business on North Highland Avenue. No one was reported injured.
