Democrats received a major confidence boost heading into the November midterms after Pat Ryan won a special election for New York's open 19th House seat in a race that's considered a national bellwether. It’s going to be a crowded field vying for their spot in the newly redrawn 17th Congressional District, which includes much of the Hudson Valley.
