Approximately 600 freshmen will be moving into campus residence halls between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., according to a news release.
About 600 returning students, including most of Iona’s student athletes, will be helping freshmen and their families as well. Other continuing students will move in on Monday, with nearly 1,400 students in total living in Iona residences this year.
Local business owners are also ready for the return of Iona’s more than 3,800 total undergraduate and graduate students as the fall semester official begins with the start of classes.
Classes at Iona are scheduled to begin on Tuesday.
