Police are seeking the public’s assistance as they search for a wanted woman who allegedly assaulted another in the city.
The Yonkers Police Department issued an alert on Thursday afternoon regarding 57-year-old Margaret Tarrant, who is wanted by law enforcement for a second-degree assault charge stemming back to an incident on April 30 in the city.
Police described Tarrant as a 5-foot-7 African American weighing an estimated 265 pounds with brown eyes and light brown hair. Investigators described her build as large. She was last seen around Grove Street.
Anyone with information has been asked to contact the Yonkers Police Department Warrant Squad by calling (914) 377-7253 or texting the word YPD and the tip to 87411.
