NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Dorothy Rafferty Viggiano died on Dec. 27 at the age of 86.
Viggiano was born to Dominick and Mary Carletti Viggiano on Feb. 11, 1928. She worked for the village of Pelham, New York, as a crossing guard on the corner of Washington Ave. and Highbrooke Ave. for many years.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews, and is predeceased by two brothers, John and Paul.
Memorial services will be held at St. Joseph Church in New Rochelle on Jan. 2, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
