Pair Of I-95 Accidents Cause Stop-And-Go Traffic

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A pair of accidents on I-95 resulted in stop-and-go traffic on Sunday evening.

A multi-vehicle accident closed two lanes on southbound I-95 north of the New Rochelle tolls before being cleared.

The accident was between Mamaroneck Avenue (Exit 18B) and Fenimore Road (Exit 18A), and reported at 8:25 p.m.

An accident on northbound I-95, reported at 8:50 p.m., occurred between Boston Post Road and I-287 (Exit 21), resulting in stop-and-go conditions as well.
