SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N. Y. -- Residents in Southern Westchester County should be aware that high winds and high tides may cause flooding Thursday along the coastline, according to the National Weather Service.
A coastal flood watch is in effect for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. Roads and buildings along the coastline may be particularly vulnerable to wave splash over. High winds and tides could generate flooding, particularly in low areas, the National Weather Service said.
