Friday, Feb. 1 Nursery Rhyme Time: 9:30-9:50 a.m. A joyful blend of stories, songs and finger plays at New Rochelle Public Library Chidren’s Room, 1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle.

Global Tales: 10:30-11:15 a.m. Climb aboard and travel through South America, Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia with Lavanya Misra. Participants also will create traditional arts and crafts and learn a few basic words in native languages. Huguenot Children’s Library, 794 North Ave., New Rochelle.

Children’s Program: 10:30-11 a.m. Lively sessions engage children and their parent or caregiver in music and games. New Rochelle Public Library Chidlren’s Room, 1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle.

Teen Board Game Bonanza: 3-4:45 p.m. A tabletop gaming estravaganza for students in grades 6-12. New Rochelle Public Library Second Floor Teen Area, 1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle. 

New Rochelle High School Annual Dinner Theatre: 6-9:30 p.m. The dinner and caberet production of “Almost, Maine” will be presented by Theatre Works. Dinner includes a fully catered meal from A.J. Pelham Art Center presents “Vital Signs: The Enigma of Identity”: 6:30-8 p.m. Free opening reception and all-age art workshop at Pelham Art Center, 155 Fifth Ave., Pelham. The free exhibition is composed of photographs, video and installation art. Vital Signs examines the use of familiar objects that questions how we make conventional, yet sometimes misguided assumptions about their content. 

Saturday, Feb. 2 New Rochelle High School Annual Dinner Theatre: 6-9:30 p.m. The dinner and caberet production of “Almost, Maine” will be presented by New Rochelle High School sudents. Admission is $15 for adults and $12 for students/seniors. Linda E. Kelly Theatre, 265 Clove Road, New Rochelle.

Sunday, Feb. 3 North Avenue Indoor Flea Market: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. American Legion Hall, 112 North Ave., New Rochelle.
