Two Sentenced For 2018 Long Island Crash That Killed Newly Engaged Couple
A man and woman have been sentenced for their roles in the fatal car crash that killed a newly engaged couple on Long Island. Brooklyn resident Rahmel Watkins, 36, was sentenced to 18 years to life in prison after being found guilty of assault, reckless endangerment and reckless driving in the deaths of 21-year-old Yisroel Levin and his 20-year-old fiancé Elisheva Kaplan on the Nassau Expressway in Lawrence last April.
