A Long Island man has been indicted for fatally stabbing his cousin and nearly stabbing his cousin’s girlfriend to death in front of her son, authorities are saying.
Wilson Felipe Andrade-Molina, age 37, of Brentwood faces multiple charges for his alleged role in the two stabbings, the Suffolk County District Attorney announced on Wednesday, April 12.

A new travel advisory has been issued for Americans who may be planning on heading to Mexico, warning them of "violent crime and kidnapping.”
The US State Department advisory comes after incidents of vandalism, looting, and other crimes in the northern part of the Mexican state of Baja California, including the city of Tijuana, along the southern-most border of California.

Police: Officer Hospitalized After Violent Attack By Woman At Nassau Bar
An officer was hospitalized after being violently attacked by a woman at a Long Island bar overnight, according to police.
The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10 in Oyster Bay at Cooper Bluff Waterfront Bar on Bay Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located an injured woman and began rendering aid.
While officers were helping the victim, Celeste Rodriguez, 27, of Brooklyn, who is an acquaintance of the woman, became irate and violent towards the officers, Nassau County Police said.

A Long Island man has been sentenced for racketeering, including conspiring to distribute narcotics and participating in a murder and attempted murder of a rival.
Terrill Latney, an associate of the “Red Stone Gorilla” subset of the Bloods, a violent criminal enterprise based in Riverhead, was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment.

Man Hit By BMW, Shot Behind Row Of Long Island Businesses
Police are investigating an incident during which a man was struck by a vehicle and then shot, leading to school lockouts on Long Island.
According to detectives, the incident took place around 10:20 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11, in Patchogue, said the Suffolk County Police.
During the incident, a 35-year-old man was struck by a BMW and then shot by the driver of the vehicle.
Detectives believe the incident is related to an earlier dispute, police said.
