The crash took place around 8:45 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 14, on Prospect Avenue in Westbury, said the Nassau County Police. Westbury Man Attempted To Lure Girls Into His Car, Police Say A 46-year-old Westbury man has been charged after attempting to lure two 16-year-old girls into his car, Nassau County Police said. In the first incident, at around 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 9 in Westbury, the victim was followed by the man, identified as Selvin Ortiz, while walking home from Park Elementary School in Westbury, police said. While the victim was walking on Prospect Avenue at Kinkel Avenue, Ortiz was slowly following her and physically motioned for her to get into his vehicle, according to police.
