Caught On Video: Suspect Admits Shooting 31-Year-Old To Death Outside Long Island Restaurant
Nearly two years after a man was shot to death outside of a Long Island restaurant, the victim’s killer has confessed.
Ismael Rodriguez-Rosado, age 29, of East Islip, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and other charges in Suffolk County Court on Monday, June 5, in the death of 31-year-old German Ariel Montes De Oca Ramirez in August 2021.
According to the Suffolk County DA’s office, the two got into an altercation outside of the Mi Nueva Encanto Restaurant, located in Central Islip on Carleton Avenue, at around 1 a.m. on Aug. 2, 2021.

A Long Island man faces grand larceny charges after robbing a gas station before leading authorities on a multi-county chase and fighting officers in Westchester, police said.
The incident began on Wednesday, March 1, around 5:15 a.m., when sheriff's deputies in Putnam County were sent to a Gulf gas station in Southeast at 1565 Route 22 for an armed robbery, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

Man Wanted For Nassau County Carjacking Nabbed After Crashing Vehicle
A Long Island man wanted for carjacking a woman while she was sitting in her vehicle has been captured by police.
Patrick Blaszkiewicz, 33, address unknown, who was wanted for the Wednesday, Dec. 9 incident in Mineola, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 17, after being spotted by Garden City Police Department driving the stolen vehicle, said the Nassau County Police.
When Garden City officers attempted to conduct a car stop Blaszkiewicz refused to comply. Blaszkiewicz was involved in a minor auto accident while fleeing the police.
