Iconic Long Island Light Station Nominated For Historic Registry
A nearly 200-year-old light station with a still-functioning lighthouse on Long Island is being considered to join the State and National Registers of Historic Places, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced. A Long Island church has been nominated for state and national registers of historic places by New York Gov. Kathy Hochul. A 19th-century waterside mansion in Northport and historically African-American community in Sag Harbor have special significance on Long Island have been nominated for the New York State Register of Historic Places. 95-Acre North Fork Vineyard, Winery Of Late Movie Executive Listed At $17.9M
A historic North Fork vineyard that was owned by the late movie executive Michael Lynne has hit the market. Lynne, a major figure at New Line Cinema for years, died of cancer in March.
