Driver In Critical Condition After Crash In Baldwin A man was hospitalized in critical condition after officers responding to a crash on Long Island found him suffering from an unrelated medical condition.  Officers responded to a minor crash at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Merrick Road in Baldwin at about 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, according to the Nassau County Police Department. One of the drivers was unconscious and not breathing, and officers began performing CPR, police said.
