Teen Critically Injured, Two Others Wounded, In Nassau County Shooting Police on Long Island are investigating an assault that left three people with gunshot wounds, with one in critical condition. The incident took place around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, in Baldwin, said the Nassau County Police. According to detectives, First Precinct officers responded to the intersection of Edna Court and Haig Street for a call for shots fired.  When they arrived on the scene officers located a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound to his torso, police said. Nassau Teen Apprehended After Threatening Officers With Knife, Police Say A Long Island teen was apprehended after threatening officers with a knife, police say. Nassau County Police First Precinct Officers responded to a call for a disturbance in Uniondale at 604 Jerusalem Avenue on Wednesday, Oct. 21 just before 8 p.m.  Upon arrival, officers were told that the defendant, Selvin Hernandez-Lopez, 18, of Uniondale, had fled on foot southbound on Amsterdam Avenue.  Officers were able to locate Hernandez-Lopez in the driveway of 612 Amsterdam Ave. where he was involved in a disturbance with two male victims, police said.  Hernandez-Lopez …
