Brian Perales, age 22 of Brooklyn, was arrested on Monday, May 13 in connection to the Manhasset crime, which Nassau County Police said occurred in February.

Just before 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, a 48-year-old woman was parking her 2024 Mercedez Benz in the parking lot at 981 Northern Boulevard.

She was then approached by two men who reportedly grabbed her and pulled her out of the car, pushing her to the ground.

One of the robbers threatened the woman with a gun while the men snatched her car keys.

Police said one man got in the victim’s Mercedez Benz and drove off, while the other hopped in an Acura four-door sedan (driven by a third man) and headed west on Northern Boulevard.

Perales’ arrest comes following an investigation into the incident.

He is charged with first-degree robbery.

Perales pleaded not guilty at his arraignment and is scheduled to next appear in court on Monday, May 20.
