41-Year-Old Sentenced 20 To Life For Uniondale Burglaries
A man could spend the rest of his life behind bars for his back-to-back burglaries on Long Island.
Kevin Carroll, age 41, of Manhattan, was sentenced on Wednesday, Feb. 21 for his 2020 Uniondale burglaries, the Nassau County District Attorney announced.
On the evening of June 22, 2020, Carroll forced open the back door of 429 Fenimore Avenue, a Uniondale boarding house that has both shared and single-occupancy rooms.
Carroll had once been a resident of the boarding house himself, the DA’s Office said.

Alert Issued For Missing Long Island 15-Year-Old
Authorities are asking for help in locating a 15-year-old Long Island boy who has been missing for over 24 hours.
John Gray, of East Hampton, was last seen at around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, on Three Mile Harbor Drive.
East Hampton Town Police said Gray, who has autism, was wearing a dark gray beanie, black jacket or sweatshirt, black pants, and black Nike sneakers. He was possibly carrying two black backpacks.
Investigators determined that the teen was in Manhattan at around 2:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, and may be using public transportation.

Target To Close Stores In 4 States, Including NY, Citing Theft, Organized Retail Crime
Citing incidents involving violence and theft, Target announced it is closing nine stores in four states, including one in New York.
The New York store is in Manhattan, at 517 E 117th St.
Three other stores are in California, in the San Francisco/Oakland market, and three in Oregon, in Portland.
The other two stores are in Seattle, Washington.
