Long Island Man Killed In Crash With Transit Bus A Long Island man was killed after his car crossed over a curb of a parking lot and into a street, where it crashed with a bus. It happened on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at about 11:10 a.m. in Babylon, Suffolk County Police said.  John Gordon, 83, of North Babylon, was driving a 2005 Honda Accord in the parking lot at 1 John St. when he drove the vehicle over the curb and into the westbound lanes of John Street.
