Led by a strong showing downstate, New York is well-represented on U.S. News & World Report's brand-new rankings of the nation's best high schools. The rankings were released on Tuesday, Aug. 29. When it comes to getting a quality education, several New York schools are a cut above the rest, according to the community and school ranking site Niche. After a new hotspot of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases cropped up following a graduation ceremony, a in Northern Westchester town is considering a new law requiring face masks in public.
