Man Critically Injured In Single-Car Long Island Crash A Long Island man suffered critical injuries in a single-car crash. The man, Michael Degore, age 27, was driving a 2016 Chrysler 300 southbound in Lindenhurst on South Strong Avenue when he veered off the road, struck a telephone pole, and then hit a parked vehicle at approximately 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, Suffolk County Police said. Degore, of Lindenhurst, was ejected from the Chrysler, which then became fully engulfed. The Copiague Fire Department extinguished the fire.
