Man Nabbed For Attempted Rape In Inwood, Police Say A homeless Long Island man was charged with the alleged attempted rape of a woman who was walking down a street. The incident took place in Inwood around 5:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 4. Man Accused Of Attempting To Rape Woman Walking On Inwood Street A man was arrested after authorities say he attempted to rape a woman while she walked down the street on Long Island. It happened on Friday, Aug. 4 in Inwood, according to Nassau County Police. A 50-year-old woman was walking on Nassau Avenue at approximately 5:30 a.m. when the suspect, Freddie Keitt, allegedly came up behind her and grabbed her by the waist.
