A food delivery driver was caught with her hand in the cookie jar after a doorbell camera caught her stealing a package from a Long Island porch, police said. The incident happened on Sunday, Sept. 3 in Manhasset, according to Nassau County Police. Three suspects are on the loose after a Long Island food delivery driver was robbed on New Year's Eve. The incident happened at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31 in New Cassel. The victim, a 61-year-old man, was making a delivery to a Brook Street residence and was approached by three unknown males, Nassau County Police said. Restaurant chain Friendly's has launched its first fast-casual cafe. The company announced that it has opened its first "Friendly's Cafe" in Hampden County, Massachusetts. Police are investigating a rash of food delivery vehicles stolen on Long Island after fake delivery orders were placed. The incidents happened in Suffolk County when the drivers exited their vehicles to deliver food, police say. No resident at the delivery address had placed a food order, according to police.
