Pickup Truck Driver Intentionally Rams Audi, Police Cruisers On Meadowbrook Parkway, Police Say A man driving a pickup truck was taken into custody on Long Island after repeatedly ramming an Audi on the Meadowbrook State Parkway into New York State Police cruisers and attempting to flee, police said. New York State Police troopers were dispatched at approximately 9:38 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, to a stretch of the parkway in Hempstead, where there was a report of a Toyota Tundra purposefully ramming an Audi near exit M8.
