Alex Jones Ordered To Pay Sandy Hook Shooting Victim's Family A Total Of $49M
Far-right radio host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been ordered by a Texas jury to pay nearly $50 million to the family of a young boy killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. A national parent-led organization that aims to “reclaim our schools from activists promoting harmful agendas” is suing a New England school district for alleged discrimination against white students. A new bill signed into law by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo will ban the sale of Confederate flags and other “hate symbols” on state property. Three people were arrested after about 100 protesters walked down the streets of East Meadow in what was a peaceful protest on Friday, June 12.
