Man Seriously Injured After Being Struck By SUV At Long Island Intersection
A Long Island man was hospitalized in serious condition after being struck by an SUV driver crossing the road at a busy area intersection, police said. Suffolk County Police detectives said that Bethpage resident Christopher Simon, age 25, was driving a 2017 Chevrolet SUV at approximately 9:50 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, when he struck a pedestrian at the intersection of West 4th Street and New York Avenue in Huntington Station.
