Suspect Nabbed In Fatal Shooting At Long Island House Party
A Medford man has been charged in the fatal shooting of an East Patchogue man during a fight outside a house party over the weekend. Nassau County Police Homicide Squad detectives charged Corey Coach, 25, with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon on Wednesdayy, July 10, police said. Coach is accused of shooting and killing Darnell Smith, 36, about 1:35 a.m. Saturday, July 6, after a fight broke out near Cedar and West lanes in Medford, detectives said.
