According to NBC News 4, the 15-year-old student was identified as Carmyne Payton, a 10th-grader at Copiague High School. Three Teens Assault 19-Year-Old Near Long Island High School, Police Say Two teens are facing charges and a third is at large after ganging up to beat up a high school student on Long Island, police said. Suffolk County Police said that a 19-year-old student at Copiague High School was standing near the building at the corner of Dixon Avenue and Bethpage Road in Copiague - off school grounds - at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, when he was surrounded by a group of other students.
