The rescue took place around 9:30 p.m., Sunday, June 27 about 72 miles southeast of Montauk.  Coast Guard officials received a VHF radio call from a 44-foot commercial fishing vessel, the Nite Nurse, reporting the vessel was taking on water and sinking.
