Two Long Island Residents Pull Woman From Burning Car After Crash Two Long Island residents are being hailed as heroes after pulling a woman from a burning car following a crash on the Southern State Parkway. It happened around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 8 eastbound near Exit 35 in Babylon. Fiat Chrysler announced that the company is recalling 208,000 Chrysler Pacific minivans that were produced from 2017 through 2019. Those systems that have been recalled have systems that stop the engine for traffic lights and restart it when a driver presses the gas pedal.
