Man Tried To Burglarize Nassau Home Twice In Span Of An Hour, Police Say
A potential burglar on Long Island went to the well one too many times - with a rifle - and was arrested after attempting to break into a neighbor’s home twice within an hour, police said. A Dryden Street resident in New Cassel reported that she heard someone attempting to enter her home through a rear sliding door on Monday, Jan. 27, according to Nassau County Police.
